I arrived at Chateau de Puissentut and the skies were grey but I knew that the team there would do their best to make sure the ceremony happened within the old stone pigeonnier even if the guests would need umbrellas.
All was a calm but busy scene within the bride prep. Over in the gite, the groom's party began to prepare.
Birds were singing, rain was falling lightly, guests turned up dressed in an array of colours and the gardens of Puissentut were lush and full of flowers and leaf.

We had a beautiful day and the rain held off enough to enjoy the exterior. Who needs soft golden light? We managed very well without it and with a laid back couple, fun guests and live music all went beautifully.
