Chateau de redon wedding of a and j

I met A & J at a family wedding here in France in 2022 so I was delighted when A got in touch to enquire about me covering their wedding & welcome drinks for this year.

The welcome drinks took place not far from Chateau de Redon, at Hotel de Bouilhac. What a place. Just across from the a beautiful river, the hotel is located within an old town in Dordogne - it is charming.

The weather was unforgiving on the whole - 36 degrees for the welcome drinks and pretty much rain on and off all day for the wedding but we cannot do anything about this and Chateau de Redon created a beautiful space within one of their renovated barns for both the ceremony and the dinner.
